Career
He was drafted into the United States. Army Sixth Corps in World World War II for military intelligence and interrogated German POWs and analyzed captured and stolen German maps and charts. He was present at the Sixth Corps" landing at Anzio and the subsequent battles in southern France. He produced The Beachhead News newspaper and kept extensive notes on the war.
He later authored two books on the subject, Discovering the Rommel Murder, and
