Charles Dearne Pearson

Background

Charles was born on the seventeenth of May, 1880 in England. H. W. Pearson was his father and F. I. Killick was his mother. On the eighth of November, 1904 he arrived in China. Most of his life Charles lived and worked in Shanghai.

Education

He got education at Clifton College and Bristol University College.

Career

Charles was on Volunteer Corps Service for 6 years in England and for 15 years in Shanghai. Also, he worked at Shanghai Waterworks Co., Ltd. for 17 years.
