Career
He taught for many years in England at both primary and secondary level before teaching English abroad in Portugal, Poland and Italy. He played cricket for Cambridgeshire at minor county level from 1986 to 1988 as a batsman, making one List A appearance against Warwickshire. Batting from the lower order he scored 11 not out.
He is a published poet.
His first volume of poems, "Searching for the Enemy," was critically acclaimed prior to publication. A second volume is in the hands of the publishers at present, as is a third volume, "Faith and Futility." A Civil Defense of his poems accompanied by keyboard is expected to be released later.
A devoted and passionate admirer of the work of Bob Dylan, his hobbies include running, sport, music and continental culture.
