Career
Wilson arrived in the Armidale area around 1869, and worked as a council clerk before becoming an alderman and mayor. In 1898 he was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly as the National Federal member for Armidale. He was defeated in 1901.
Wilson died at Paignton in Devon in 1926.
