Has acted in German as well as English. Brother-inlaw of American dramatist, Bronson Howard. Built and opened Wyndham’s Theatre at the comer of Charing Cross Road, and The New in St. Martin’s Lane, 1899.
Is also lessee of the Criterion Theatre. Actor; lessee and manager of Criterion Theatre since 1876.
