Education

Bachelor of Arts, Union College, Schenectady, New York, 1853. Doctor of Medicine Medical Department, University of Michigan, 1856.

Career

August 12, 1857 (died 1880). 2d. Miss Sidney J. Wilson, November 15, 1881. Began keeping bees at Marengo.

1861; had at one time 400 colonies of bees. Writer for bee and agricultural journals. Department editor Gleanings of Bee Culture, since 1890.

Associate editor American Bee Journal, since 1894.
