The older brother, Richard, was elected to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Clyde practiced alone until he was joined by his son, Clyde, Junior in 1940.
Clyde Holt, III, grandson and great nephew of the original founders, served in the Raleigh city attorney"s office, as a partner with Baggett and Holt and with Hatch, Little & Bunn before reinstituting Holt & Holt in Wake County, North Carolina in 1994.
