In Detroit from 1900, except 4 years as head of music department State Normal School, California, Pennsylvania, and periods of study in the United States and abroad. Co-founder and secretary Detroit Institute Musical Art until 1919. Organist and choir-master Grosse Pointe Memorial Church.
Also concert organist, pianist and lecturer. Conductor Orpheus Club (male voices), Madrigal Club (women’s voices), Music Study Club Chorus. Choral instructor Ford Hospital Nurses’ Training School Former dean Michigan chapter American Guild of Organists.
