Wrote and sponsored bill specifying width of bridges and culverts on Federation and State Highways in Mississippi. Opposed Carolina Container Bill. As chairman of Drainage Commissions passed new drainage chapter simplifying drainage laws.
Opposed to all sales tax measures. Killed bill 1930 allowing Oil Company to sue State of Miss, for $225,000. Fought excessive appropriations.
