Field secretary General Missionary Society, 1926-1934. Bishop Evangelical United Brethren Church since 1934. Now supervisor Southwestern Area including Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas and California, also Oriental missions in China and Japan.

General secretary for evangelism, 1922-1926 and since 1934, stewardship, 1922-1934. Organized China Conference, 1937. President Administrative Council of Evangelical Church, Sunday school and Tracet Union.
