Transferred to A. O. Department, 1905. Officer in Charge of Danger Buildings, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, 1898-1901.
Served throughout Chitral Camjaign, 1895, with Relief Force under Sir Robert Low (medal and clasp). Chief Ordnance Officer, Guernsey, 1901-1904.
