Railroad Company, 1900, in maintenance of way, mechanical, accounting and transportation departments.

General freight claim agent same road and Yazoo & Mississippi Valley Railroad, 1910-1912. Assistant to president same roads, 1912-1916, vice president, 1916-1918.

Federal manager same roads, and Gulf and Ship Island Railroad, Mississippi Central Railroad and New Orleans Great Northern Railroad during federal control, 1918-1920.

Senior vice president I.C. and Yazoo & Mississippi Valley rys., March 1, 1920-1924. President Sears, Roebuck & Company, mail order business, Chicago, November since 1924.
