Ordained ministry Baptist Church, 1886, serving until 1893. Deacon, 1894, priest, 1895, Protestant Episcopal Church. In charge of St. Mary’s Church, Penacook, Concord, N.H., 1893-1898, first as lay reader and later as deacon and priest.

In charge of St. Andrew’s Church, Manchester, N.H., 1898-1911. Rector St. John’s Church, Taunton, Massachusetts, 1911-1913, St. Ann’s Church, Revere, 1913-1935. For many summers to 1911 in charge St. John’s Church By-the-Sea, Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

In charge Trinity Church, Hoboken, New Jersey, summers 1920-1929, Grace Church, Manchester, N.H., summers, since 1930.
