Descendant of one of original proprs. of Groton, Massachusetts, from Sussex, England, 1630. Bachelor of Arts Yale, 1892. Student Northwestern University Law School.

Career

1 son, William H. T. Student with law firm of Moran, Kraus & Mayer. Admitted to bar, 1893. Began as clerk Moran, Kraus & Mayer, admitted as junior partner, 1899.

Withdrew, 1900, with Adolf Kraus, to form firm of Kraus & Hohlen, which changed, 1901, on admission of Samuel Alschuler, to Kraus, Alschuler & Holden, entered Union Trust Company, 1914, as vice-president and counsel. Later vice president First National Bank until 1936. Now engaged in scientific research in California.
