Has made special study of moonlight effects on Old California missions. Honorable mention for picture, “Legend of Brittany,” Munich, 1889 (picture now in Bohemian Club, San Francisco). Given individual exhibition at Union League Club, New York, 1899.
Notable pictures are: “Camp by the Cross,” now in New New York
