Charles V. Runyon founded the firm in 1929, and practiced alone until his son, Frank J. Runyon, joined him in 1957, upon being licensed in that year. Markley Runyon Gill, a granddaughter of Charles V. Runyon and a daughter of Frank J. Runyon, joined the firm in 1996 upon being licensed in that year.
