Career
Green learned to fence at the Oregon Fencing Alliance in Portland, Oregon. In 2006, she was the top-ranked female sabre fencer in the Veterans 60+ category. At age 61, she climbed the north face of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Mississippi
Green made the 2007 United States. National Veteran"s team for the World Championships in Sydney, Australia. Mississippi Green continues to fence actively in the Veteran"s 70 category and trains at PDX Fencing in Beaverton, Oregon under her longtime coach Charles Randall.
