Career
She is the daughter of Elvira Wayans. She is the cousin of Damon Wayans, Junior. and Michael Wayans. She later appeared as herself in the TLC series Trading Spaces.
She made her feature film debut in 2009, alongside several extended family members in the movie Dance Flick, in the role of Free Gas Pedestrian.
On April 1, 2012 Chaunte performed a comedy set at the Hot 97 April Fools" Day Comedy Show at Madison Square Garden. Wayans is also one of the new cast members on the returning show, Wild "North Out which currently airs on MTV2.
