In piano department Oliver Ditson & Company, 1880-1891. Taught again in public schools, 1891-1895. Mus. editor B. F. Wood Music corporation since 1895.

Organist and director of music, Congressional Church, Stoneham, 1860-1903, now in Unitarian Church, Stoneham. Connected with orchestras, brass bands, and various organizations as leader, director, etc., since was 20 years of age. Has written church, piano and organ music, and compositions for bands and orchestras.
