Career

Began as clerk in grocery store, San Francisco, and became proprietor. Organizer and manager 5 mutual loan associations, beginning, 1875 (total receipts $6,500,000 in monthly installments, with which were built 2,500 homes for families, all fully paid). Organizer and president Italian-American Bank.

Founder, secretary and manager Italian Swiss Agricultural Colony. Founder and secretary San Francisco Sanitary Reduction Works. Organizer Manufacturers’ and Producers’ Association, San Francisco (president 10 years).

Organizer California Promotion Committee.
