Wang, Chih-Hsiung was born on October 16, 1967 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Son of Jung-Yuan Wang and Hsin-Jen Fu.

  • Achievements include research in various assumptions in the tradition economic manufacturing quantity (EMQ) are relaxed and studied. Hence, the EMQ model conforms more closely to real-world situations. Research in a cost effective production/inspection model is proposed for a deteriorating production system under the two commonly used inspection policies of no inspection or full inspection.

    Research in an efficient solution procedure is proposed for solving the production and preventive maintenance problem. Research in the effect of the warranty cost is investigated on the optimization of the economic manufacturing quantity. Research in repairable items sold under free-repair warranty policy are examined.

    Several managerial insights are found. Research in an integrated production and product inspection policy for a deteriorating production system is solved. Research in a model for a person's competence set expansion is proposed and solved.

    Research in mixed charge model with Fuzzy Inequality constraints composed by max-product operator is solved. Research in the optimal policy for capital investment in set up cost reduction for a lot-size, recorder point model is solved.
