Career
Chihiro Kaneco entered Kanegafuchi Bdshoku Kaisha (Spinning & Weaving Company) (1934) and served as section chief and superintendent of its Fukuchiyama and Yuiki Mills. Resigned (1949). He became researcher (1949), superintendent of Fukushima Mill (1951) and then director (1952) of Tohoku Kogyo Kaisha. Held additional posts of managing director and then representative director of Toa Aen Kaisha (East Asia Zinc Company) (1950-1953). Assumed additional posts of president of Toa Dock Company (1952).
