Chitranjan Swaroop was born in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. Swaroop is a graduate. Before being elected as Modern Language Association, he used to work as an agriculturist.
Chitranjan Swaroop was a Modern Language Association for three terms.
During all three terms, he represented the Muzaffarnagar constituency. Swaroop died on August 19, 2015 in New Delhi where he was undergoing treatment.
