On August 8, 2010 in Seoul, she was crowned 2009 (the 2009 pageant had been postponed to August 2010 due to the H1N1 flu epidemic). Her reign lasted 4 months, until she crowned her successor, Katie Farr of England, 2010, on December 12, 2010. She graduated from Hong Ik University in Advertising and Journalism and studied sociology, anthropology, political science, and economics for her Masters at Yonsei University.
