In 1917 graduated from the Aoyama Normal School. Then studied and graduated from the University of Utah and postgraduate course of Harvard University.
Career
After returning to Japan, Chojiro Kuriyama entered the Tokyo Nichichi (at present the Mainichi Newspaper, Tokyo). He served as manager of its New York office, director of the Engineering Bureau, and director of the Business Bureau.
