Career

He currently works at WCNC-television as sports director in Charlotte, North Carolina. In February 2008 Chris signed on with WTVT FOX 13 in Tampa, Florida Working as a reporter/producer he covered all the area pro, college and high school teams.

Before joining WTVT he worked for Catch 47, a regional sports network in Tampa Bay, Florida.

He formerly worked for WTOC-television of Savannah, Georgia. Before WTOC, Clark was the sports director for WBOY, National Broadcasting Company 12 in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

He presided over the remaking of the station"s Friday Night Football show and guided the department to eight Associated Press awards. In 2002 and 2003, the WBOY sports team swept the Associated Press"s, winning everything in the sports category.

Prior to that, Clark was sports director at the now defunct Cable News 21 in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Clark was hired as a sports reporter and producer with FOX 5 WAGA in Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 2010.

Achievements

• During his 2 and a half year stint Chris won Emmys for sports reporting, sports editing and 2 for sports features. He also helped win 2 Florida Associated Press awards for breaking sports news. While at Catch 47 he won the stations first Associated Press (Associated Press) award taking first place in the 2008, large market, "Best Sports Feature" category for his story about a local high school baseball player. In December 2008 he won the stations first Suncoast Emmy taking home top prize in the "Best Sports Reporter" category. While in Savannah he won numerous Associated Press awards, an Emmy Award, and an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2005 for his stories on high school football players. He won another pair of Emmy"s in 2007, one for Best Sports Reporter.
