On July 2, 2012, the Ontario Reign of the ECHL extended Huxley a qualifying offer for the 2012-2013 ECHL season. In the 2013-2014 season, his second with the Manchester Monarchs, he was released from his AHL contract after 14 games on March 11, 2014.
