Prior to his career as a stock trader, Doctor Chris Kacher pursued an education in the nuclear sciences at the. He won a Charles Doctorate. Coryell Award while an undergraduate student. As a graduate student he contributed to the confirmation of the existence of Seaborgium and a synthesis of an atom of Darmstadtium.
He received a Doctor of Philosophy in the nuclear sciences from University of California Berkeley in 1995.
He is a certified practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming and hypnosis.
Career
In his book Chris Kacher developed a concept of Pocket Pivot, an early base breakout indicator, which is successfully applied by individual investors. Kacher became increasingly interested in trading financial markets in graduate school. He start trading in 1991, and soon realized that he want to switch from nuclear physics to portfolio management.
In 1995, Doctor Chris Kacher started one of the first stock advisory services on the Internet.
