Chris Kamolins

Education

Kamolins attended primary school at Greenhills Primary School in Greensborough, Melbourne, before completing his secondary education at Street Helena Secondary College in Eltham North.

Career

He has umpired 111 career games in the American Federation of Labor-Congress. Kamolins was originally based in Victoria, but has moved to Queensland and is now the only American Federation of Labor-Congress Field Umpire based in that state (apart from Rookie Andrew Stephens) after Ben Ryan moved to Victoria at the start of the 2013 season. Kamolins enjoyed his most successful season in 2012, being named emergency in Week 1 of the Finals.

Achievements

• Chris studied at a tertiary level at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, based at the Bundoora Campus, successfully achieving at a high level a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
