Career
In the 2006-2007 season, he spent a short spell on loan at Football League Two side Accrington Stanley. He returned to Accrington on a loan deal at the beginning of the 2007-2008 season. During his time out with injury during the summer of 2008 he trained and taught at Preston North End centre of excellence on a Saturday morning at West View leisure centre.
Chris was forced to retire from the professional game in 2009, due to a serious back injury caused whilst on loan at the East Lancashire club
In 2011-2012 season, Chris joined newly formed Lancashire Sunday League side Preston South End Football Club. Chris also plays for the Preston North End Fan"s team Since retiring from the game, Chris took up the opportunity to work again for his boyhood team, Preston North End Football Club as Assistant Community Officer.
