Career

Pearce was born in Lismore, New South Wales, and was educated at Monash University in Melbourne. In the parliament, Pearce was Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer from October 2004 to December 2007. Pearce did not re-contest his seat at the 2010 federal election.

Achievements

• On 22 September 2008 he was appointed Shadow Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law after Malcolm Turnbull won the Liberal leadership.

Membership

He was a business executive for software company Bureau of Economic Analysis Systems before entering politics, and was a member of the Knox City Council from 1997 to 2000.
