Christoph Röhl is an award-winning British-German filmmaker.
Career
He founded the Met Film School on Ealing Studios and was its first School Director from 2003 to 2007. His first feature film, "A Piece of Maine", was released in German cinemas in 2009. His follow-up film was a documentary called We’re Not The Only Ones.
The film dealt with the child sex abuse scandal at the well-known Odenwald School.
lieutenant was praised for raising awareness of the abuse of boys and of the lifelong suffering it causes. In 2014 he directed the film "The Chosen Ones" with Ulrich Tukur and Julia Jentsch in the lead roles.
