He was a right-handed batsman who played for Cumberland. Kippax made a single one-day appearance for the team, in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy in September 2002. Kippax scored 5 runs in the only List A innings in which he batted.
Kippax made two appearances for Harrogate in the National Club Championship in 2003, and appeared in the Cockspur Cup for Methley between 2004 and 2007.
