Educated Stevens High School, Claremont. Episcopal Academy, Cheshire, Connecticut. Bachelor of Science, Dartmouth, 1877.

Career

Teacher natural sciences, Episcopal Academy, 1877-1880. With Hatch & Foote, bankers, New York, 1880-1885. Electrical engineer, Plainfield, New Jersey, 1885-1890.

Secretary and treasurer N.E. Insurance Exchange, 1890-1925 (retired). Originator of movement which resulted in the adoption of the “National Elec. Code,” and has been especially prominent in insurance rating fire prevention work.
