Career
He held the Ministerial portfolios of Health, Education and Home Affairs. He was 34 years of age when appointed in Health Minister in 1968, by then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, which made him the youngest minister in Singapore. In February 2014, Chua died at the age of 81 after suffering from heart failure.
