Chuichi Ohachi was a Japanese diplomat and diet member. He organized Doyukai (Party of Friends of the Same Thought) which is made up of non affiliated Diet members.
Career
Chuichi Ohachi served successively as consul in Seattle, Mukden and Los Angeles, chief of the 3rd Section of International Trade & Commerce Bureau of Foreign Ministry, Consul-General in Harbin, vice-director of Foreign Affairs Department and director of Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Government of Manchoukuo, and Supreme Counselor of the Mongolian Government.
He elected twice to House of Representatives (1952 and 1953) and became member of Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs of House of Representatives. Organized Doyukai (Party of Friends of the Same Thought) which is made up of non-affiliated Diet members.
