She opened a catwalk studio to train young newcomers to modelling: the "Chulpadmendra Catwalk Studio", at 275/75, Western Province Aesthetic Resort, Professor Stanley Wijaysundara Mawatha, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka. Chulpadmendra has been on television and in music videos.
She has had several other minor acting jobs since then
Chulapadmendra nicknamed "Chula" has participated in the reality television show Sirasa Dancing Star where she was placed second runner-up. Chula has also acted in many Sri Lankan hip-hop song videos including "Hanthane" by Ashanthi De Alwis featuring Delon and "Heena Hirimal" by Prageeth Jerome.
Achievements

She won "Mission Tourism Model of the World Press Award" in Tanzania 2006. She hosted the Derana Mission Sri Lanka for Mission World 2008 alongside famous Sri Lankan male announcer Narada. She walked off the stage at the Sirasa Dancing Star grand finale, unable to accept the fact that she did not win the championship.
