Education
She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, of Korea, where she majored in Oriental painting. She moved to the United States in 1961 to study metalsmithing, weaving, and ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she received an Master of Fine Arts in 1965.
