She studied Fine Art at Queen"s University, Kingston, Canada (Bachelor of Fine Arts 2000) and at the Glasgow School of Art (Master of Fine Arts 2004).
Career
On 7 May 2014, it was announced that she was one of the four nominees for the Turner Prize. Phillips works mainly as a printmaker, often collaboratively. Her prints often feature abstract blocks of colour, with repeated motifs.
Phillips"s work has been well received.
