She takes part in the Turkey women"s national ice hockey team She is 1.50 m (4 ft 11 in) tall at 45 kg (99 lb). At the age of eleven, her father died and she followed her mother to Kocaeli, Turkey.
She is a student of English Linguistics and Literature at Kocaeli University.
Otts began with ice hockey in Turkey when she was twelve years old. She preferred this sport because she was much interested in ice skating, however she was not young enough to start a figure-skating career, as she told in a newspaper interview.
She added that she performs ice hockey as a hobby, because there is no possibility to become a professional ice hockey player unlike in the United States. Club
She plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Women"s League for Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt Spor team

She was called up for the Turkey national team, and played in the 2013 IIHF Women"s World Championship Division II Group B qualification matches.

Currently, she is a member of Genç Ankaralılar Spor Kulubü team in Ankara, Turkey playing in the defense position.
