Career
Her work crosses installation, sculpture and printmaking and often uses craft techniques to explore materials and space. Claire Barclay attended Glasgow School of Art where she focused on environmental art In 2003, Barclay represented Scotland in the Venice Biennale.
She was the focus of a solo exhibition at the Tate Britain in 2004.
