Primary school teacher, 1919-1925. Founder and president of the National Feminist Party since 1922. Founder and director of the School for Adults and the School of Feminine Culture, 19231927.

Professor of sociology, political economy, and civic instruction in the National Institute. Official delegate to the Inter-American Commission of Women, Washington, District of Columbia, since 1928.
Delegate of the City of Panamá to the Conference on Government organized by the National Municipal League and other bodies, Cleveland, Ohio, 1930. Member of the Child Welfare Congress of Costa Rica, 1931.
Secretary general of the division of female and child labor of the Confederación Sindical Obrera y Agraria.
Secretary of propaganda of the Liga Antiimperialista de las Américas.
