Speaker of the House last term. Elected to State Senate two terms, 1900-1905. President of Senate both terms.
Member National Democratic Executive Committee from Georgia since 1892. Member of Board of Directors the Associated Press since 1897. Trustee, University of Georgia. Editor of the Atlanta Constitution since 1897.
