2012 With Democratic Representative Donna Pence redistricted to the District 26 B seat, Kauffman won the May 15, 2012 Republican Primary with 2,382 votes (534%), and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 11,148 votes (712%) against Democratic nominee Cindy Shotswell.
