Claude Couture is a professor at Campus Saint-Jean, University of Alberta since 1988, the director of the Canadian Studies Institute of the University of Alberta (2006), the editor in chief of the International Journal of Canadian Studies (2005) and authored, co-authored, edited, or co-edited over 12 books and 50 papers in scientific journals.
