Claudius Miller Easley was a United States Army brigadier general who was killed at the Battle of Okinawa.
Easley, Claudius Miller was born on July 11, 1891 in Thorp Spring, Texas, United States. Son of Alexander Campbell and Claudia (Miller) Easley.
Bachelor of Science, Texas A. and M. College, 1916. Student Army Service Schools, 1927-1930. Graduated from Army War College, 1940.
On July 11, 1912, Easley was commissioned a Second Lieutenant at Camp Perry, Ohio. He attended the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas from 1912 to 1916, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. On April 21, 1946, Easley was posthumously awarded a Doctorate of Laws by AMC. \r\nEasley's son, Claudius Miller Easley, Jr.
(1918–2006), was also in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
