Connelley, Clifford Brown was born on March 26, 1863 in Monongahela City, Pennsylvania, United States. Son of George and Elizabeth (Brown) Connelley.

Practical experience with Robinson & Rea, Westinghouse Elec. & Manufacturing Company. Assistant to John Haliburton, engineer, Philadelphia.

Instructor Mech. Department and superintendent shops, Western University of Pennsylvania. Principal Fifth Ward Manual Training School, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Organized industrial work for City of Allegheny and was consultant supervisor Pittsburgh Industrial Schools.
