Mr. Adams was a professor of mathematics of Oregon State University, Corvallis, 1983-1985, professor of mathematics of Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, since 1985, professor of the University of California, Santa Barbara, during 1988 to 1989, and professor of the University of California, Davis, 1991-1992.
