Fairservice appeared in 74 first-class matches as a right-hand batsman who bowled right-arm off-break. He scored 1650 runs, with a highest score of 110, and took 18 wickets. He was born in Hadlow, Kent, and died Canterbury, Kent.
His father Bill Fairservice played more than 300 first-class games for Kent between 1902 and 1921.
