Book will be printed in black and white, with grayscale images. Book will be 6 inches wide by 9 inches tall and soft cover bound. Any foldouts will be scaled to page size. If the book is larger than 1000 pages, it will be printed and bound in two parts. Due to the age of the original titles, we cannot be held responsible for missing pages, faded, or cut off text.

Served in Mashonaland Rebellion, 1896-1897 (despatches twice), first as galloper to Colonel Alderson, officer commanding Mashonaland Field Force, then obtained commission in Bachelor of Agricultural Science Police, 1896, gazetted as Captain or Inspector in 1897, and Major or Chief Inspector in November 1897 to command native police, Mashonaland. In May 1898 proceeded to North Rhodesia, recruited and equipped force of 500 police for that country. Appointed Acting Administrator for Barotseland and officer commanding police in same country, September 1899.
Decorated in recognition of services in Mashonaland War.
